Another flashback post, but this time from the 2007 Twilight Criterium that was held in Athens, Ga. For those who don’t know, the Twilight Criterium is an annual bike race that weaves through the streets of downtown Athens. The event is an all-day affair, but the final race is held after sunset so it makes for a really unique atmosphere. I believe the pro race is 40 km or 80km but I don’t remember off hand since its been awhile.
I shot these for the Red & Black as part of the paper’s coverage for the event.
