A few weeks back the Banner-Herald asked me to shoot this square dancing club out in Danielsville. I headed out there only to find a very difficult lighting situation.
Check this, two types of lighting intermingled with each other, and a third if you count the flash I had to use because the room was dark. To make matters worse, the entire room was wood paneled, so any bouncing light took on the hue of the wooden walls.
I ended up dialing my flash way up to try and reduce the natural light as much as possible, but it still created a few problems. I did my best and was able to get a few photos out of the situation. Anyways, the story ran today and here were the photos they used.
