Yesterday I shot the Terry College of Business’s Music Certification Program’s End of Semester Showcase. Normally I don’t post the things I shoot for Terry Magazine, but I liked this photo enough to post it.
I would have liked it a bit more if I was able to get more depth of field so his top hand was sharp also, but I was already shooting at iso 3200. If I find myself in this situation again I need to start experimenting with manually dialing down my strobe to see if I can get enough light in the picture to get the d.o.f. I need without throwing off the stage lights.
