Calhoun County Hall of Fame

The fourth assignment I had Saturday was to shoot a hall of fame induction for the county. I was already rushed because I had one final assignment that was considerably more time intensive that started fairly soon after this did.

So, after trying to figure out how I’m going to get the shots of the inductees that aren’t grip-n-grins I walk into the banquet hall and see that the lighting is not playing in my favor. All the lights are off with the exception of candles at all the tables, and I find out that the stage where all the inductees are will not be illuminated in any way.

Put on my flash and hope for the best basically. It is a miracle these are in focus, because it was too dark to autofocus and near impossible to manual focus. All light in this shot comes from my little strob, that thing is a life saver.
