High school football practices are going in full force here in east Alabama. The Anniston Star has about 30 different schools in its coverage area, so the photo staff has been busy trying to get each of them in practice this week for a special section that is coming out soon. Yesterday and today I shot 4 different schools, so here are my favorites. Also, because there are about 12 photos total I decided not to caption them since its just practice and not a game.
The schools I shot were Oxford High School, Donaho (A private school), Jacksonville High School, and Jacksonville Christian Academy.
Just an interesting note, the Donaho team is only 17 players deep. Consider that there are 11 players on the field at any given time. That means some of the players are going iron-man throughout the game. Thats pretty intense.
