Shot this portrait for the getting to know feature the sports department does. I would have liked to have had softer light, but the gear necessary was not available to me that day so this is what I had to do to light the background like I wanted with the second light i had laying on the stands.
I had a photo of her where she showed her teeth while smiling, but after showing both to the sports editor he said he preferred this one.
