Tonight I was a guest at the wedding of Brandon Yarbrough and Ollie Richie (now Yarbrough as well) at the Primrose Cottage in Roswell, Ga.
Knowing that I’d have to shoot a wedding next week I decided to get some quick practice in since I’ve never shot one before (and really had never been to one either).
I only used my 50mm f/1.4 and I mainly shot from wherever I happened to be sitting, but I think the results are promising for next week.

Hi Josh!
It was so nice to meet you last night! These photographs are WONDERFUL! You are an incredible storyteller. I can’t wait to see what you create at your first wedding coming up! Seriously, I was so excited when I got home last night and looked at your website. You have such a gift. Ollie and Brandon were lucky to have you at their celebration!
Best,
Anne
Josh – These look amazing. You really are such a versatile photographer and it all turns out looking beautiful/inspired.
(I almost booked Primrose Cottage for my wedding. Ended up going with another magic moments venue: Little Gardens in Norcross.)
Josh, thank you so much for taking these gorgeous pictures! Granted, you’re a professional already, but these are amazing. Your gift is very apparent. So gracious of you to take these. Much love and thanks!
what beautiful photos, and a beautiful bride!! if i EVER get married, you have to be my photographer. Or i’ll kill you.
Josh, these are fabulous! Thank you so much for coming. It was nice to meet Lauren. As the bride do I get access to these pictures because I absolutely want them?
These are damn good for both a a guest and the limitation of the 50mm.
Most pro wedding photographers would be pleased with these if they had all the freedom and choice of lenses, you’ll do a *brilliant* job next weekend. Enjoy it.
