This past Friday the AJC sent me up to Buford, Ga., to shoot the Westminster at Buford game. Buford doesn’t seem to be the same monster they were back when I worked at the Gwinnett Daily Post. Last year they lost a regular season game to Lovett and this year they already lost to Carver-Columbus. This coming from a team that went undefeated for something like 3 straight years. That said, despite the losses they keep winning state titles, so the term monster is incredibly relative.
Westminster kept the game fairly close and the final score didn’t really indicate how tight the game was.
