Last Friday I got asked to shoot an assignment for the Wall Street Journal in Athens about a company called Rent the Runway. My contact, Mary Mitchell Fuqua, was a representative for the company that rents out designer dresses. The company, which makes $1 million a month apparently is specifically targeting high school and college students. Fuqua, a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter at the University of Georgia, would be wearing one of the dresses from the company at her sorority’s parent’s weekend event at the Athens Country Club.
My task was to get photos of her socializing in the dress along with a model type shot.
