Went on a walk through Greenpoint after work yesterday, pulled out my Canon 5DmIII instead of using the Sony A7RIII I’d been shooting with lately. As great as the Sony is, mirrorless is still inferior for street photography. I love not having to worry about the battery draining while I’m just walking. With the Canon I can just leave it on between scenes and I can be sure that the battery won’t needlessly drain. Just pick it up, hit the shutter and I’m good to go.
