Yesterday I went to shoot the rodeo that was in town. The rodeo, called The Southern Stampede, was hosted by UGA’s Brock and Bridle club. The rodeo was a yearly staple of the University for many years when it was held in Stegeman Coliseum. However, it got kicked out a few years ago and was held far off campus, sometimes as much as 30 miles away. This year they came back, but in the equestrian facility on South Milledge Ave.
I’ve never shot anything like it before, so I wasn’t really sure how to approach it. I guess I mainly aimed for variety, but there were a lot of technical limitations that limited my shooting options.
