Eddie Adams Workshop: Mike Sulyman slaughters a goat [Graphic Images]

Today and tomorrow I’m going to feature the photos I shot while I was on assignment for the Eddie Adams Workshop.  For two days I shot Mike Sulyman, a deli owner and halal butcher who lives in Monticello, NY.  Mike is a really interesting guy, he used to own some restaurants and clubs in New York City but after retiring decided to start from the ground up in Monticello.  Now he works 7 days a week, mostly by himself, at the Monticello Mini Fruit Market and Deli.  I’m very appreciative of Mike for being so open to having me with him for two days and overall being a stand up guy.  I wish him nothing but the best of luck.
