Yesterday could have been a disaster if I hadn’t found out about my favorite band playing in town when I did. Somehow they keep coming through the area and I never hear about it until the day of. This is the second time it’s happened and I was quite happy I was able to make it to the show. I was able to shoot them last time they came through as well.
I’ve never been to The Earl before, so I was a bit bummed out to see how bad the light was going to be. After consulting with the venue’s Twitter page earlier in the day and being advised not to use flash, I was mostly il-equiped to shoot. After a few test shots though, I began to like the strikingly over saturated colors the lights were presenting and just decided to embrace them.
