Today marked the 10th anniversary of the July 9 1999 student uprising so there was another Iranian solidarity protest down at CNN to commemorate. There were about 200 people who showed up while I was there, maybe more or less because I’m not good as estimating the sizes of crowds, but it was still a bit difficult to shoot.
This was the third protest within 3 weeks that I’d shot (see the others here) so some of the faces have started to become familiar and its the same general actions and chants from time to time so its a bit of a challenge to think about how to shoot it and still make it look fresh. I don’t know if I succeeded in the regard, so I’ll let you be the judge.
Also, right as I left Brett came down from his work on a break to get some photos and a girl I’d talked to had asked if I’d left. When we had talked earlier I believe she had said she had been looking at this site, so if that was you send me an e-mail.
