The final assignment I had for the AJC on Saturday was to shoot a Kasim Reed event. Well it wasn’t so much an event as him making a public appearance to shake people’s hands and letting the media know he’d be there. He also held a mini-press conference to talk about how he didn’t like Mary Norwood’s ads accusing him of race bating. I haven’t been following the mayor’s race so I don’t know really know if it was a warranted response or just political maneuvering on either side, but my only goal Saturday was to make some photos.
