On Saturday the AJC sent me over to the 32nd Annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. I presumed access wouldn’t be great, so I lugged my 400mm f/2.8 with me and I’m really glad I did. All the photographers got sat in the back row of the bottom level. I was the only photographer who brought long glass and it definitely paid off. I was easily able to fill my frame, which would have been near impossible with the 70-200mm.
