So one of the weirder traditions at Camp Coleman is an activity called Rope Burn. On the second day of Macabia, the two teams gather a ton of sticks and then at the designated time, run them across the field where staffers on each team proceed to try and build a fire that is about 14 feet high. Over the two fires hang ropes, the first team to burn their ropes through wins.
