The other week I heard about a big student protest that was going to take place at the Georgia State Capitol in response to a proposed $300 million budget cut targeted at the University System of Georgia. I looked over the proposal myself and it seemed rather harsh, but I took the opportunity to get some practice doing protest photos.
The event started with most everyone meeting at Hurt park next to Georgia State University. Everyone eventually marched over to the Capitol and there was a formal speaker thing then a march back to the park afterwords.
