Atlanta Twestival in Detail(s)

Last night at Hub Atlanta a bunch of people met up for the Atlanta “Twestival” organized by my friend Sam Lawrence.  For a $10 donation to the humanitarian organization Concern, participants were treated to free Chipotle burritos and then drinks at Cypress Street Pint & Plate.  Money raised by Concern went to benefit the people of Haiti.

FYI, the former Braves’ mascot is named Chief Knock-a-homa. One of the greatest (and most culturally insensitive) mascots of all time.

Insensitive Yes but as a Clevaland girl I think Chief Wahoo is worse and Yes….I can’t help it I love him.

Chief Nok-a-Homa was an actual guy dressed up as an Indian. Homer the Brave, prior to his reimagination of a giant baseballhead, was a man with the indian head that was modeled after the logo.
