Much earlier in the summer I saw a sign for Red Bull’s Soap Box Derby, which would be taking place in midtown. Then at the Reynoldstown Wheelbarrow Festival, I saw another sign. Today it finally came.
I got to 10th and Piedmont right around 11:30 a.m. and shot the pits for a little bit before scoping out the track. Then, at 1 p.m., the races got under way. 40 or so teams competed so this is going to be a long post because I tried to put in at least one photo per team.

your use of Arial for your JDW is troubling.
Looks like alot of fun. Great shots as always.
I was there for most of races and you really captured some great moments! Awesome!
Looks like you missed our team. A damn shame.
I probably got some actually, I shot every team. But there was one or two teams that I didn’t like the photos from.
I enjoyed these photos so much. You captured the fun so well. Your new logo is impressive.
