Eddie Adams and New York: Portraits

On Thursday, October 7 I walked onto a plane at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and flew up to New York to take part in the 23rd Eddie Adams Workshop in Jeffersonville, NY.  Since the workshop did not start until the 8th, I spent the night in Manhattan seeing the city and hanging out with friends from college. The next day I met up with other EAW participants at B&H and started one of the biggest chain reactions I think I ever had the pleasure to experience.  The next four days were a whirlwind of speakers, work, critiques all  while making new friends and being inspired by their work.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be posting photos and more details about the trip.  But to get things started, I decided to post photos of some indivuals that I had the pleasure to meet and hope to keep in touch with.  This is not a comprehensive list and should not be mistaken for such.  These were just the ones I happened to either have caught candidly or directed a formal portrait of.
